Re: Lenovo doesn't want to boot up

Please edit your post to remove most of those specifications and the boxes. It has made your post very large. We have to do a lot of scrolling to get down to where we can reply. What we find useful is:

    CPU
    GPU - video adapter
    Amount of memory - RAM
Amount of memory in the video adapter
    Any other OS installed
Boot system - BIOS or UEFI
    Version of Ubuntu - 14.04; 15.04; 12.04
Description of what happens when you load Ubuntu. We need to know the signs that you are seeing to give us an idea of where the problem is.

You say that you can load Ubuntu using recovery mode. That tells me that you are getting a Boot menu (Grub). But what happens after you select to load Ubuntu? Some information about that would be nice.

If you can load to a desktop using recovery mode then I suggest that you use Additional Drivers to select another video driver.

    Regards.
It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.
